Equine Muscle Release Therapy Practitioner
Hi, my name is Ashleigh.
I have trained the past four years to gain my Qualifications from the Equus College run by Ali Goward in Australia, in Horse, Cat and Canine Muscle Release Therapy. I have also trained in Auckland under the Bowtech Organisation to get my Diploma in Human Bowen Therapy. This therapy is amazing for all living beings. Bowen Therapy, EMRT (Equine Muscle Release Therapy) and CCMRT (Cat and Canine Muscle Release Therapy) is a non-invasive Holistic Therapy. It supports the musculo-skeletal framework, the fascia, nervous system and internal organ systems. The treatment consists of very gentle moves on the muscle, fascia and connective tissue. This helps with circulation, lymphatic drainage, the assimilation of nutrients and elimination of toxins, which reprogrammes the body to bring it back to a state of balance and eliminate the trauma that the body has taken. It is a relaxing treatment and has frequent but essential pauses in between moves.

Ashleigh came out to treat my 19yo competitive warmblood who had been in an accident over a year ago.
During the first session she couldn’t make much physical contact with him as he was not very receptive. By the third treatment he was at ease, relaxed and seemed to enjoy his treatment. He was like a completely different horse within three weeks.

Ashleigh is an amazing and passionate young woman.
I was introduced to Ashleigh when our puppy developed a limp, other treatments were difficult to maintain with an active puppy. After four CCMRT sessions Piper ( the puppy ) has resolved and as an added benefit is a much more relaxed girl. Ashleigh has developed a great repore with both myself and Piper. She is knowledgeable and explained what she is doing and has fantastic follow-yo. I will use Ashleigh again and would recommend her to others without hesitation.

Both my husband and I had acute neck pain. Ash has a special talent, combined with her patience to work through to find the cause of the issue has helped us immensely.
We absolutely would recommend !!
